Removal
Place a suitable container to collect the drained transmission oil.
Remove the plug (arrow) and drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox.

Remove the oil pan from the transmission housing (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the filter from the gearbox housing (see the relevant chapter).
Disconnect the connectors from the solenoid valves (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the pins (1 and 2) securing the solenoid valves 1/2, 3/4 and 2/3.

Warning: Use pliers to remove the pins, being careful not to damage the solenoids. If necessary, insert a thin steel wire into the pin to prevent damage to the pin. Do not remove the solenoid valves by pulling on the connectors. Remove the solenoid valves together with the gaskets from the valve seats.
Pull out and remove the cylindrical pin (1) pressed into the electromagnetic valve of the band brake servo (2). Remove the electromagnetic valve together with the gasket from the valve seat.

Warning: Do not remove the solenoid valve by pulling on the connector.
Installation
Install the solenoids with new gaskets and secure with roll pins by tapping them in gently with a hammer, being careful not to damage the solenoids.

Connect the connectors to the solenoid valves (see the relevant chapter).
Install the filter on the gearbox housing (see the relevant chapter).
Install the oil pan with a new gasket and secure it to the gearbox housing with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 12 N·m.
Replace the transmission fluid drain plug and tighten to 25 Nm.
Fill the transmission with transmission fluid and check its level (see the relevant chapter).
