Removal



Place a suitable container to collect the drained transmission oil.

Remove the plug (arrow) and drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox.

Remove the oil pan from the transmission housing (see the relevant chapter).

Disconnect the connector from the crankcase transition solenoid valve.

Loosen the bolt (1), remove the retaining plate (2) and remove the electro-hydraulic pressure regulator valve (3) with the spring washer from the valve seat.

Loosen the bolt (1), remove the washer (2), disconnect the ground wire and remove the torque converter clutch electromagnetic valve (3) from the valve seat.

Warning: Do not remove the solenoid valve by pulling on the connector.




Installation



Install the solenoid valves into the adapter housing and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 10 Nm.

Connect the connectors to the solenoid valves.

Install the oil pan with a new gasket and secure it to the gearbox housing with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 12 N·m.

Replace the transmission fluid drain plug and tighten to 25 Nm.

Fill the transmission with transmission fluid and check its level (see the relevant chapter).
