Opel Omega A (1986—1993)

Compared to Rekord, Omega showed many modern technological advances that were new not only for Opel, but also for the European car market in this segment. There was also a self-diagnosis system, the data of which could be read by specially equipped service stations.

Opel Omega B1 (1994—1999)
The Omega B was a brand new car with modern exterior styling but traditional rear wheel drive. The engine range was completely new. Assembly shops were located in Germany and Thailand. Opel Omega B2 (1999—2003)
The Omega B2 was released in autumn 1999 as a facelift of the B1. The car featured relatively minor changes to the front and rear design, center console and the introduction of an electronic stabilization program (ESP). Major exterior changes included a grille, bumpers and moldings, taillights, exterior mirrors, alloy wheels, a new center console with GPS, air conditioning, and controls. There were two types of bodies, the same as B1.
