Removal
Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system.
Remove the battery and battery support.
Remove the gearbox (see the relevant chapter).

Remove the radiator together with the hoses (see the relevant chapter).
Remove 3 nuts and disconnect the front exhaust pipes from the exhaust manifold.
Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector from the wiring harness (arrows).

Remove the hood (see the relevant chapter).
Disconnect the accelerator cable and cruise control cable from the throttle bodies, marking their installation positions to facilitate adjustment after reconnecting the cables. Remove the cable mounting brackets.

Disconnect the ventilation hose, air intake hose and air conditioning hoses from the engine.
Disconnect the heater hoses from the engine.
Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold.
Remove the accessory drive belt (see the relevant chapter).
Remove 3 bolts and remove the power steering pump from the bracket and, without disconnecting the hoses from it, move it to the side and secure it in the engine compartment.

Remove the air conditioning compressor from the bracket and, without disconnecting the hoses from it, move it to the side and secure it in the engine compartment.

Disconnect all connectors, hoses and tubes from the engine. Before disconnecting, mark the fuel lines and after disconnecting, seal them with suitable plugs to prevent contamination from entering the fuel system.

Using a lifting mechanism, lift the engine so that its weight is supported by the lifting mechanism.
Remove the bolts securing the left and right engine mounts.
Check that all electrical connectors, hoses, tubes and wire harnesses are disconnected from the engine.
Remove the engine from the engine compartment, being careful not to damage the fuel lines, brake lines, and other components.
Installation
Install the engine into the engine compartment, being careful not to damage the fuel lines, brake lines, and other components.
Screw in the bolts securing the left and right engine mounts.

Connect all connectors, hoses and tubes to the engine. Remove the plugs from the fuel lines and connect them in accordance with the previously applied markings.
