Exhaust gases are poisonous

Carbon monoxide contained in gases (carbon monoxide) it is very poisonous and also odorless and colorless.
Avoid inhaling it. The engine should not be running in a closed garage. Never drive with the trunk open.
Starting a gasoline engine

The gearbox is in neutral position.
Do not add gas.
Turn the ignition key to position III.
Once the engine starts, release the key.
The initially increased engine speed decreases to the normal idle value as the temperature increases.
Starting a diesel engine

The gearbox is in neutral position.
Turn the ignition key to position II.
As soon as the pre-glow indicator lamp goes out, turn the key to position III and give full throttle. As soon as the engine starts, release the key and begin to slowly release the throttle.
At low air temperatures, be sure to depress the clutch before starting. The preheating period will be somewhat longer.
