After turning on the ignition, all system lights come on.
Function control mode. Will go out after approximately 4 seconds. Parking lights are switched off by pressing the brake pedal.
The automatic control system checks the oil level, fluids, the condition of the brake pads of the front disc brakes and the main external lighting lamps of the car. The external lighting lamps are checked only if they are turned on.
The warning lights warn of the following:
— the brake fluid level is too low,
— the fluid level in the washer reservoir is too low,
— the engine oil level is too low when the ignition is turned on or after the previous trip,
— the coolant level in the expansion tank is too low,
— the low beam or side light bulb has burned out,
— the brake light bulb has burned out, including the trailer brake lights,
— the brake linings of the front disc brakes have worn down to their minimum thickness.
The engine oil level is also checked while the vehicle is moving.
If the level is normal, the indicator lamp will go out immediately after the ignition is turned on. If the level is too low, it will not go out.
If the indicator lamp continues to light for more than 1 minute after the ignition is turned on, it is necessary to:
- turn off the engine,
- check the oil level,
- if necessary, contact a service station for assistance.
