Operating principle
When the ignition is turned on, the indicator lamps light up for about 4 seconds, indicating the serviceability of the indicator lamps, after which only the indicator lamp of the serviceability of the brake light lamps continues to light. To turn it off, press the brake pedal.
The low beam headlight and side light malfunction indicator lamps in the rear lights indicate their malfunction only when the circuit of the corresponding lamps is switched on.
If the engine oil level is insufficient, the corresponding indicator lamp continues to light 4 seconds after the ignition is turned on until the engine is started. In this case, the car must be on a horizontal surface. Correct readings of the indicator lamp are provided no less than 4 minutes after the engine is stopped.
The brake fluid level indicator light comes on when the brake fluid level is low.
The brake pad wear indicator lamp lights up when braking if the thickness of the friction linings has reached the minimum permissible value.
The windshield washer fluid level indicator light comes on when the fluid level is low.
