Note: In this mode, cooling and removal of moisture from the incoming air is not performed, which can lead to fogging of the windows. In addition, when the outdoor temperature rises, system malfunctions may occur.
The system is deactivated by pressing the AUTO button again.
Temperature management
Left rotary control (see illustration 18.6) Selecting the temperature mode sets the average temperature that must be maintained in the car. Press the left knob to enter the corresponding display menu. When the knob is turned, the set temperature value is displayed in the corresponding field of the display. The temperature value can be set from 16°С and 28°C. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to set the regulator to 22°C. In automatic mode, when the average temperature value changes within the specified limits, the temperature in the cabin will change gradually.
To quickly change the temperature, turn the rotary control beyond the specified values. When the temperature is set below 16°С the display will show the inscription «Lo» - the system will operate in maximum cooling mode without temperature control. When the temperature is set higher 28°С the display will show the inscription «Hi» - the system will operate in maximum heating mode without temperature control.
To select the temperature mode separately for the driver and front passenger seat, press the right rotary knob (see illustration 18.6) and turn the knobs to set the average temperature value for the driver and front passenger areas respectively. For reasons of comfort, it is not recommended to set the temperature difference to more than 2°C
To return to the mode for setting the temperature for the entire passenger compartment, press the left rotary knob.
Air circulation mode
The circulation mode prevents the penetration of exhaust gases, unpleasant odors, dust, as well as pollen from plants that cause allergic reactions into the passenger compartment.
Attention! As soon as it is no longer necessary to isolate the passenger compartment, the fresh air supply must be restored!
The air circulation mode is activated using the switch button on the control panel - the control LED built into the button should light up.
Note: Prolonged use of the circulation mode leads to fogging of the windows and an increase in the stuffiness of the air, therefore it is recommended to activate this mode only if it is really necessary and for a relatively short time.
Pressing the switch button again restores the air supply.
With the appropriate configuration, the automatic air circulation control system registers, using a special sensor, the presence of harmful impurities in the air entering through the air intake and automatically switches to the circulation mode. When the concentration of harmful impurities in the outdoor air decreases to acceptable limits, the system will automatically turn off the circulation mode.
Note: When the outdoor temperature is low and the air conditioner is turned off, the automatic activation of the air circulation mode function is blocked to prevent fogging of the windows. If necessary, turn on the air circulation mode manually. Activation / deactivation of the automatic air circulation function is carried out through the menu of the information display (see below).
Activate/deactivate the system and adjust the airflow intensity manually.
Manual regulation of the air flow intensity is performed by turning the central regulator. Turning the knob indicates the selected intensity mode (positions 1 to 6) air flow is displayed in the corresponding field of the display. When choosing the position of the regulator ABOUT the system will be deactivated. To return to automatic mode, press the button «AUTO» the air flow rate will be selected automatically.
System setup via display menu
If necessary, the setting of the HVAC system parameters can be done manually via the information display menu. Using the display menu, you can set the following functions:

Individual menu items are selected by turning the central knob, the selection is confirmed by pressing it. When confirming the selection of some items, the menu of this item appears - the selection of parameters in it is carried out in the same way.
The corresponding function is activated if a mark in the form of a diagonal cross appears in the square / circle field in front of the selected menu item (X), bold dot or «ticks» (depending on display type). If there is no brand, the function is deactivated.
Note: At low outside temperatures, the air conditioner will automatically turn off regardless of the setting.
To close the menu it is necessary to select the items Return/Back or Main with the central regulator and confirm the choice.
Manual settings after the ignition is turned off remain recorded in the system's memory.
Use of residual engine heat/air conditioner cold
Interior heating/cooling can continue for some time after the engine has stopped (e.g. while waiting at a railroad crossing) by using the accumulated residual heat/cold. The mode is activated when the ignition is off by pressing the button «AUTO» (see illustration 18.6) on the control panel, - the control LED built into the button should light up, the display briefly shows the message Residual air conditioning on.
When the mode is activated, the intensity and directions of the air supply are adjusted automatically (usually the minimum fan speed is selected). The duration of the operation of the system depends on the selected temperature settings and the initial temperature of the engine coolant. If equipped, the interior heating / ventilation system can be connected during parking (see below). The mode is turned off by pressing the button again «AUTO» or automatically by a timer signal, as well as a noticeable decrease in the battery charge level.
Windshield blower
If necessary, for example, to quickly clean the windshield from snow, ice and condensate before driving the car, you can quickly activate the windscreen blowing mode by pressing the button on the HVAC control panel - the LED built into the button should light up. At the same time, the system automatically ensures that the heater and fan are switched to maximum performance, and the entire flow of air supplied to the passenger compartment is redirected to blowing the windshield and side windows. If necessary, the intensity of the air flow can be adjusted using the central regulator.
18.8 Remote control pools for interior heating/ventilation when parked
To return to automatic mode, you must press the same button or button again «AUTO».
Rear window heating
The rear window heating element is activated using the button on the system control panel - the control LED built into the button should light up.
Heating / ventilation of the car interior during parking
Attention! When the interior heating/ventilation system is activated during parking, the function of monitoring the interior and tilting of the car of the anti-theft system will be automatically disabled!
On models with the appropriate equipment, this system allows you to maintain the desired temperature in the passenger compartment for approx 60 minutes since the activation of the system. When activated, the system maintains the last set average temperature, when the system is activated, the average temperature can be changed by turning the left/right rotary knob. The air flow in the ventilation and heating system is heated by passing air through the heater heat exchanger. When the coolant temperature drops to 80°С the system of flare heating of the coolant is automatically activated, while for some time a characteristic noise is heard and smoke is emitted from the combustion of fuel. This system consumes approx 0.3 l fuel for each warm-up.
To activate the system, with the ignition on, select the appropriate submenu on the information display (Auxiliary Heating) and set a mark in front of the item «Op» - the built-in button should light up «AUTO» control LED.

The range of the remote control is up to 600 m. Depending on the terrain conditions and the presence of interference, the range may be reduced. If the range of action is significantly reduced for no apparent reason, it is necessary to replace the batteries of the remote control (see illustration 18.9). Note: If necessary, up to 3 remote controls can be programmed for this system. To improve heating efficiency and quickly reach engine operating temperature, torch heating automatically turns on while the car is moving at an outside air temperature below 8°C, regardless of the settings of the HVAC system and the interior heating / ventilation system. The flare heating system automatically turns on when the engine is stopped;).
More information on the HVAC system
During the operation of the air conditioner or heater, the passenger compartment windows must be closed. In order for the air temperature in the passenger compartment to quickly reach the set temperature, it is recommended to use the air circulation mode at the initial stage of the system operation when it is turned on.
Attention: As soon as the temperature reaches the set parameters, do not forget to turn off the circulation mode!
In hot sunny weather, after the car has been parked in the sun for a long time, it is recommended to drive with the windows open for the first 2-3 minutes of driving and ventilate the interior for faster cooling of the air with the air conditioner.
Operation of the A/C system in hot weather can cause condensation to form, the removal of which can lead to moisture dripping under a parked vehicle, which should not be a cause for concern.
Before driving, clean the air intake grille of snow, dirt and fallen leaves. To quickly clean the glass from ice and misting, turn on the heater fan at full power. To keep the components of the A/C refrigeration circuit in working order, run the compressor for a few minutes at least once a month, even if there is no need for air conditioning.
Note: On models equipped with climate control, this procedure is performed automatically while driving, however, at low outside temperatures, when the air conditioner is not activated, the preventive activation of the system must be performed by the driver.
