Trunk lid, tailgate (Opel Omega A)

Lockable: in horizontal position of the lock inlet.

Sedan: The car's license plate is only properly illuminated when the trunk lid is closed. Therefore, driving with the trunk lid open is not permitted.

Station wagon: When transporting standard luggage - driving with the door open is not recommended. Poisonous exhaust gases may enter the passenger compartment. If necessary, when transporting large luggage, the door can be slightly open so that the license plate is clearly visible from behind.

Closing the boot lid or tailgate with the central lock



When the boot lid or tailgate lock inlet is in the horizontal position, they can be locked synchronously by the central locking mechanism of the front doors together with the other doors and the fuel filler cap.

Closing: turn the key to the horizontal position.

If the boot lid or tailgate is locked, they can only be opened using the central lock from the front doors of the car.

Opening: Turn the key in the opposite direction, all the way to the right, to the vertical position. All doors, including the fuel filler cap, will open.
