The tailgate lock can only be unlocked after unlocking the driver's door lock or after unlocking all locks using the button on the instrument panel.



Press the lock switch located under the tailgate trim...

Note: This is the location of the tailgate lock switch.

...and lift the door up.



To close the door, pull it down by the handle in the trim and slam it until the lock engages.
