For cars in the following configurations Active (Enjoy) and Cosmo install an on-board computer.

It allows you to obtain the following information:
  • information about the state of the vehicle systems;
  • route/fuel information.

route/fuel information.

The information from the on-board computer is displayed on the central information display 30 (see Instrument cluster, Fig. 1).

The information from the on-board computer is displayed on the central information display 30 (see…

To display information on the central information display, use the controls located on the left steering column switch lever.

For selection menu route/fuel (trip computer function) click on the button IN ("MENU").

By turning the handle B select one of the submenus:

(Material was taken from a resource: «OpelBook.ru»)
  • on-board computer 1;
  • on-board computer 2;
  • power reserve;
  • average fuel consumption;
  • current fuel consumption;
  • average speed;
  • digital speed;
  • road sign detection system.

Mode for displaying the distance that can be traveled on the remaining fuel in the tank (power reserve). This mode displays the approximate distance that can be traveled on the remaining fuel in the tank, taking into account the average values of driving speed and fuel consumption. This distance is recalculated and updated every second.

Attention! Even if the display shows a sufficient distance to your intended refueling point, refuel as quickly as possible if the fuel gauge arrow is near the "0" mark and especially if the reserve fuel indicator light comes on.

Note: The display will not change until approximately 20L or more of fuel has been added to the tank.

Average fuel consumption mode. This mode displays the average fuel consumption calculated based on the amount of fuel consumed and the distance traveled since the battery was connected or the data was reset.

To reset the data, press and hold the button for more than 1 second A ("SET/CLR") on the steering column switch lever. After pressing this button, the display will show the message for approximately 1 minute "---- L/100km", then the recalculation and display of average fuel consumption will begin.

Current fuel consumption mode (instant consumption). This mode displays the current fuel consumption, calculated based on the amount of fuel consumed and the distance traveled at a specific point in time. The current fuel consumption is recalculated and displayed every 2 seconds.

If the vehicle speed is reduced to approximately 5 km/h, the current consumption is not calculated and the display will show the message "---- L/100km".

Average vehicle speed mode. This mode displays the average speed of the vehicle, calculated based on the distance traveled and the time spent on the road since the battery was connected or the data was reset. The average speed of the vehicle is recalculated and displayed every 10 seconds.

To reset the data, press and hold the button for more than 1 second A ("SET/CLR") on the steering column switch lever. After pressing this button, the display will show "---- km/h" for about 1 minute, then the average vehicle speed will be recalculated and displayed.

Digital speed mode. The display shows the instantaneous speed of the vehicle in digital form.

Road Sign Display System (if installed on a vehicle) duplicates the road signs detected along the route on the display. At a specific moment in time, the last detected road sign is displayed.

Informational messages are displayed on the central display automatically as needed. They contain information about the state of the vehicle systems and recommendations for maintenance of a particular unit. Depending on the vehicle configuration, a wide range of information messages may be displayed. To confirm the message, press the button A ("SET/CLR") on the steering column switch lever. By pressing the button IN ("MENU") you can call up the sequential display of several messages.

Information messages can be displayed on mid-level and top-level displays.
