To prevent damage to clothing, the key shaft is retracted into its body.

...and the key rod will swing forward under the action of the spring. To return the key rod to its original position, press the button, turn the rod by hand until it enters the groove on the body and snaps into place with the lock.

Note: Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the buttons on the key may additionally activate the anti-theft alarm and electric windows on all doors.
If the battery in the key remote control starts to run low and the range of the device decreases, it may take several button presses to operate the systems. In this case, replace the battery as soon as possible.
To replace the battery in the key, follow these steps.

1. Unfasten the remote control cover by overcoming the resistance of its latch and remove the cover.

2. Remove the battery from the remote control.
3. Install the new battery in the reverse order of removal.

Warning! When installing the battery, observe the polarity: the positive pole of the battery must be on top.
