Engine hood (Opel Kadett E)

To open the engine hood, pull the handle located under the instrument panel on the left, then lift the hood with your hands a few centimeters and press the handle located under the edge of the hood to the left of its center (if you stand facing the car). Raise the hood and insert the stop into the reflector. When closing the hood, remove the stop from the reflector, insert the stop into the socket, lower the hood so that it does not reach the end of the stroke by about 20 cm, and release it smoothly. Then make sure that the hood is locked.
