Idle speed adjustment
Frequency of adjustment of idle speed and CO content in exhaust gases: annually or every 15,000 km.
Fuel filter
Fuel filter replacement frequency: every two years of operation or every 30,000 km.
Air filter
Frequency of replacement of the filter element: every two years of operation or every 30,000 km of mileage.
To replace the air filter element of carburetor engines:
- unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the filter housing cover; the plastic cover is inserted into the body without fastening
- remove the filter element, making sure that no foreign particles enter the carburetor;
- install a new filter element, making sure the rubber gasket is positioned correctly.
For seasonal adjustment of the engine air filter "12SC":
- loosen the wing nut securing the damper lever;
- at temperatures above +10°C, set the damper lever "Sommer" ("Summer"); at temperatures below -5°C in position "Winter" ("Winter"),
- tighten the throttle lever mounting nut.
For seasonal adjustment of the engine air filter "13N":
- at temperatures above +10°C, set the damper lever to position "Sommer" ("Summer"); at temperatures below -5°C in position "Winter" ("Winter").

2 — master brake cylinder reservoir;
3 - brake booster;
4 — windshield washer reservoir;
5 - expansion tank;
6 - ignition coil;
7 — battery;
8 — ignition distributor;
9 — radiator;

Econometer
Some cars are equipped with an economizer. It is made in the form of an arrow indicator and shows the fuel consumption trend depending on the driving style:

- with an economical driving style, the indicator arrow is in the black sector;
- if fuel consumption is excessive, the arrow moves into the red sector.
