Service

The lubrication of the steering gear and ball joints of the steering rods does not require replacement during the entire service life of the vehicle. Every 15,000 km or every year of operation, check the condition of the protective covers of the ball joints of the steering rods and make sure there is no play in the joints of the steering rods by turning the steering wheel in both directions from the neutral position. If there is play, replace the steering rod.

Steering column height adjustment

On some vehicles, you can adjust the height of the steering column. To do this, press the locking lever located on the left side of the steering column towards the steering wheel. While holding the lever down, move the steering wheel up or down until you get the most comfortable angle, and release the locking lever.

When the engine is cold, the oil level should be no lower than the lower mark on the dipstick.
