- A. Radial needle bearing located at the 1st gear gear.
- b. Needle roller bearings for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears.
- V. Half-ring thrust washers between gears 2 and 3, equipped with a locking ring.
- d. 3/4 gear synchronizer retaining ring.
- d. Composite driven shaft integrated with the final drive gear.
- e. Roller bearing, half-ring thrust washers and washers retaining ring (next to the main gear drive gear).
2. Presenter (driven shaft part) and the final drive gears must always be replaced as a pair.
3. All synchronizer clutches are interchangeable.
4. When assembling the driven shaft, lubricate all parts well with oil and pay attention to the following points. First, you need to install a roller bearing on the shaft so that the end of its inner race, which has a smaller diameter, is adjacent to the drive gear of the main gear.
5. Install half-ring thrust washers and secure them with a locking ring.
6. Install the needle bearing and 4th gear.
7. Install the 4th gear cone ring, 3/4 gear synchronizer (preheated in boiling water) and the synchronizer retaining ring.
8. Install the double-row needle bearing, 3rd gear cone ring, 3rd gear gear and half-ring thrust washers with their retaining ring.
9. Install the needle bearing and the 2nd gear with its cone ring.
10. Heat the 1/2 gear synchronizer in boiling water and install it on the driven shaft so that the groove on its clutch is on the side of the rear cover of the box. Secure the synchronizer with a new retaining ring.
11. Install the next needle bearing and the 1st gear with its cone ring.
12. Install the radial needle bearing so that it is adjacent to the surface of the 1st gear gear.
13. Install the spacer washer after heating it in boiling water. The washer should be in contact with the larger diameter side of the axial needle bearing.
14. Install the ball bearing so that the ball separator faces the end of the shaft. Install a new retaining ring.
Fig.6.36. Gearbox F16.4 disassembled: For explanations, see Fig. 6.19 with the difference that the following additional parts appeared: 1. Retaining ring for the 3/4 gear synchronizer; 2. Half-ring thrust washers; 3. Retaining ring of thrust washers; 4. Radial needle bearing; 5. Outer bearing track; 6. 4th gear needle bearing; 7. Double row needle bearing for 3rd gear; 8. Driven shaft with main gear drive gear; 9. Roller bearing separator; 10. Half-ring thrust washers; 11. Retaining ring of thrust washers; 12. Double-row needle bearing for 2nd gear; 13. Double-row needle bearing of the 1st gear gear.
