2. Remove the retaining ring securing the bearing to the end of the shaft. Remove the washer (see photo).

3. Using a tube, drive the gear block out of the bearing.
4. If any of the gears are damaged, the entire gear assembly will have to be replaced, which means that the corresponding gears on the driven shaft will also need to be replaced.
5. The shaft is assembled in the reverse order. Please note that the bearing must be on the closed side away from the gears.
6. Be sure to put the gear block retaining ring in place in advance so that it is ready to be installed in the groove on the gearbox housing.
