2. Remove the camshaft belt (see section 5).
3. On engines 1.6 and 1.8, remove the bolt securing the torsional vibration damper and the crankshaft sprocket. Remove the bolt and damper.
4. Using 2 screwdrivers as levers, remove the sprocket from the crankshaft. Remove the segment key.
5. Punch or drill a small hole in the surface of the oil seal and screw a self-tapping screw into it. Grasp the screw and pull out the oil seal.
6. Lubricate the lips of the new oil seal with grease and wrap the end of the crankshaft (see section 11).
7. Using a tube, push the oil seal into place. Install the segment key.

8. Reinstall the crankshaft sprocket.
9. Install the camshaft belt (see section 5).
