Maintenance schedule (Opel Astra J)

Maintenance and repair of the vehicle during the warranty period must be carried out only at technical service stations (TSS) with a mandatory note about the work performed in the service book coupons, otherwise you will lose the warranty on the vehicle.

To keep your car in good working order for a long time, we recommend that you carry out complex maintenance work at a service station even after the warranty period has expired.

This section describes the daily maintenance work of the vehicle. Descriptions of the work related to routine maintenance are given in the relevant sections of the site.

Daily maintenance includes work performed by the driver before leaving the vehicle (see Preparing the car for departure), as well as car washing and interior cleaning. Scheduled maintenance includes work performed after a certain mileage or after a certain time. A more precise division of work by time and mileage is given in the service book attached to the car, as well as in Table 1.

P - check (if necessary, replace/top up/adjust/lubricate).
Z — replacement.
O - cleaning.
(1) After a mileage of 120 thousand km, the maintenance interval is repeated.
(2) Or every 2 years (whichever comes first).
(3) Under vehicle operating conditions in Russia, it is recommended to reduce the replacement interval for the air filter element to 20 thousand km.
(4) Under severe operating conditions, replace the brake fluid every 15,000 km or once a year.
(5) Or every year (whichever comes first).
