Turn the control wheel to display the "Remaining Oil Life" submenu.

The system must be reset to its initial state every time the engine oil is changed for its correct operation. Contact a service station for assistance. To reset, press the SET/CLR button while pressing the brake medallion. For this, the ignition must be on, but the engine must not be running. If the system calculates that the oil has exhausted its resource, the Driver Information Center display will show the message: "Engine oil change soon" or a warning code. The engine oil and oil filter must be changed at a workshop within one week or before reaching a mileage of 500 km (depending on which event comes first).
