The oil resource monitoring system allows you to determine when to change the oil and filter. The frequency of indication of the need to change the oil and filter can vary significantly depending on the operating conditions.



The remaining oil life is shown on the display in the "Vehicle Information Menu".

There is a control indicator on the display shows the remaining engine oil life, for this the ignition must be on, but the engine must not be running. The keys on the turn signal lever are used to select the menu and functions. To display the remaining engine oil life on the screen, do the following.



Press the MENU button to select "Vehicle Information Menu".

Turn the control wheel to display the "Remaining Oil Life" submenu.

The system must be reset to its initial state every time the engine oil is changed for its correct operation. Contact a service station for assistance. To reset, press the SET/CLR button while pressing the brake medallion. For this, the ignition must be on, but the engine must not be running. If the system calculates that the oil has exhausted its resource, the Driver Information Center display will show the message: "Engine oil change soon" or a warning code. The engine oil and oil filter must be changed at a workshop within one week or before reaching a mileage of 500 km (depending on which event comes first).
