The fuel system includes the fuel tank, fuel hoses, fuel filter, fuel pump and carburetor or injection device with air filter.
The fuel tank is located behind the rear axle. The current fuel level is indicated by the fuel gauge. The tank is connected to the outside environment via a ventilation system.
The fuel pump does not require maintenance, with the exception of the fuel filter, which must be removed and washed for maintenance
Clean the air filter every 10,000 km and replace it every 20,000 km.
In the carburetor, check and adjust, from time to time, the idle speed (XX) in order to match the idle speed and engine throttle response, depending on weather conditions and location (highlands). At the same time, make sure that the starting automatics are working. Changes to the basic carburetor settings made at the factory, replacement of jets, etc. usually lead to deterioration of its operation and toxicity of exhaust gases.
