Cleaning and replacing the fuel pump filter (Opel Kadett D)

Cleaning should be done every 30,000 km.

Removal

Remove the air filter.

Caution! Avoid open flames.



Unscrew the top of the pump.

Attention! This is only possible in pumps with a screw cap.

Remove the sealing ring using a screwdriver.

Remove the filter.

Installation

Install a cleaned or new filter.

Install a new sealing ring.

Install and secure the cover.

Start the engine to check for leaks.
