Note. Periodically between replacements, remove the filter element and clean it of dust by shaking it vigorously or blowing compressed air in the direction opposite to the air movement during engine operation.
You will need a Phillips screwdriver.
1. Press the clamp of the block of the wiring harness of the mass air flow sensor..
2.... disconnect the block..
3.... and remove the mass air flow sensor harness from the holder on the air filter cover.
4. Loosen the clamp securing the air inlet sleeve to the air filter..
5.... and disconnect the sleeve from the filter nozzle.
Note. Please note: there are rectangular marks on the air filter nozzle and on the edge of the air supply sleeve for correct installation of the sleeve.
6. Turn out six screws of fastening of a cover of the air filter …
Note. This is how the air filter cover screws are located.
7.... remove the cover..
8.... and remove the air filter element.
9. Inspect the filter element. Blow it out with compressed air. Replace heavily soiled filter element.
10. Remove dust and dirt from the air filter housing.
11. Install a new filter element in the reverse order of removal.
Note. Pay attention to the marking of the filter element. Purchase a new item with the same marking.
