Cleaning and replacing the air filter element (Opel Kadett D)

The paper filter is cleaned after 15,000 km and replaced every 30,000 km. If there is a lot of dust, it is cleaned and replaced more often.



Remove the corrugation (bottom arrows).

Release the clamps (top arrows).

Remove the casing and take out the filter.

Cover the intake opening with a clean rag. Wipe the casings.

Knock out the filter or replace it. Install.

Caution: Do not clean the filter element with gasoline or oil.

Install the casing.

Install the corrugated pipe.
