
Checking the power supply

Connect a test lamp between the glow plug, cylinder 4 and ground.
Caution: If the engine is difficult to start, the automatic additional glow and glow functions should be checked during the starting process.

1. After a pre-heating period, which depends on the temperature (the control light goes out), the next 6-7 seconds there should be voltage on the glow plugs. Do not turn on the starter during this check. If there is no voltage on the glow plugs, the relay must be replaced.
2. During the startup process (starter is on) voltage should be present at the glow plugs. If there is no voltage at the glow plugs, you should check the wire from the relay to the glow plugs, between terminal 50 and the relay board, or replace the glow plug relay.
3. Connection should be made in accordance with the current electrical circuit.
