Replacement of air filter element — every 10,000 km (Opel Omega A)

Note: Clean the inside of the air filter housing before installing a new element.


1. Remove the air filter tube, which is secured with two screws (see illustration).

2. Loosen the screws that hold the two mounting brackets in place (see illustration).

2. Loosen the screws that hold the two mounting brackets in place (see illustration).


3. Disconnect the clamps and remove the air filter housing together with the element.

4. Remove the old element (see illustration).

5. Install the new element into the housing.

6. Connect the brackets and tighten them by tightening the screws.

7. Install the air filter tube.
