You will need: E10 TORX wrench, flat blade screwdriver.
1. Reduce the pressure in the supply system (see Reducing the pressure in the power system).
2. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
3. Disconnect the left from the cylinder head cover..
4.... and the rear ramp of the engine wiring harness, overcoming the elastic resistance of their clamps.
5. Press the retainer of the fuel supply hose tip with a screwdriver..
6.... and disconnect the line from the fuel rail fitting.
Note. When the hose is removed, some fuel may leak out. Wipe it off with a rag.
7. While pressing the spring clips of the motor wiring harness pads, disconnect the pads from the injector connectors.
8. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a fuel stage to an inlet pipe..
9.... and remove the ramp, removing the nozzles from the intake pipe holes.
Attention! If any injector remains in the intake pipe when the rail is removed, be sure to replace the retainer for that injector.
10. If necessary, remove the nozzles from the ramp (see Removing, checking and installing injectors).
Note. Replace the injector O-rings with new ones each time the fuel rail is removed or disassembled.
11. Install the fuel rail in the reverse order of disassembly and removal, lubricating the injector o-rings with engine oil.
12. Having connected the fuel hose to the rail, start the engine and check the tightness of the connection of the hose with the rail and the injector seals.
