Remove 16 bolts and oil pan from gearbox housing.
Remove the oil filter (1) with the gasket (2).
Remove the servo cover with the gasket, keeping in mind that there is transmission fluid in the cover.
While holding the locking sleeve (2) of the band brake piston from turning with a suitable wrench, loosen the lock nut (1), then tighten the adjusting screw with a torque of 5 N·m using a KM-J-6459-B torque wrench with an MKM-111 head.
Loosen the adjusting screw back five turns, then tighten the lock nut to 20 Nm.
Install the servo cover with a new gasket and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 25 N·m.
Install the filter with a new gasket.
Install the oil pan with a new gasket.
