Removal



Loosen and remove the accessory drive V-belt.

Unscrew the bolts and remove the vibration damper pulley, while using the second wrench on the bolt to hold the crankshaft pulley from turning.

Disconnect the three connectors (1) from the rear left side of the engine.

Disconnect the three connectors (1) from the rear left side of the engine.


Loosen the nut (3), remove the wire harness cover (2) and move the cover and wire harness to the right side of the engine.

Remove the three bolts (4) and remove the front timing belt cover.



Installation



Install the front timing belt cover onto the rear timing belt cover and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 6 N·m.

Connect the three connectors to the rear left side of the engine.

Install the vibration damper pulley and secure it with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 20 Nm, while using a second wrench on the bolt to hold the crankshaft pulley from turning.

Install the accessory drive V-belt.
