Measuring engine oil temperature (Opel Frontera B)

Remove the engine oil level indicator.

Insert the KM-4119-GP sensor of the KM 4119 engine oil temperature measuring device into the guide tube for the engine oil level gauge so that it is located at a distance of 1 cm from the bottom of the oil pan. Seal the guide tube for the engine oil level gauge with a rubber sealing ring.

Note: Engine oil temperature depends on engine load. If the ambient temperature is high or the engine is operating under high load, the engine oil temperature can reach 150°C.

Start the engine and measure the engine oil temperature at various engine operating conditions.

Remove the engine oil temperature gauge and reinstall the engine oil level gauge.
