V-belt tensioner roller (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Mark the direction of rotation of the accessory drive V-belt.

Using a spanner (KM-913-A), turn the belt tensioner roller clockwise by the mounting bolt, then insert the pin into the hole and remove the V-belt (1).



Loosen the bolts and remove the V-belt tensioner roller (2) from the bracket.

Installation

Install the V-belt tensioner roller onto the bracket and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 20 Nm.

Install the V-belt onto the engine pulleys in accordance with the previously applied marks. Using a spanner (KM-913-A), turn the belt tensioner roller clockwise by the mounting bolt, remove the pin, then release and remove the spanner.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
