If, in order to check the injection system, it is necessary to turn on the fuel pump when the engine is not running, remove the relay and connect terminal 30 with a piece of wire (red wire) with contact 87V (red-blue wire) (see wiring diagrams). For 1.6 liter engines, terminals 30 and 87 must be connected.
Attention! To test the fuel pump relay, the battery must be fully charged.
Check fuse N11.
Take out the relay.
Connect to pins 30 ("+") and 85 ("-") voltmeter (on the relay board). It should show 12 V.
Connect a voltmeter to terminal 30 and "mass". If the device shows 12 V, check the brown and red wires for continuity, replace them if necessary.
Turn on the ignition. Connect a voltmeter to terminal 86 ("+") And "mass". If there is no voltage, check the black wire for continuity, replace if necessary.
Check if there is an ignition signal. To do this, turn off the ignition and disconnect the connector from the computer. Connect a voltmeter to terminals 1 and 5. Switch on the ignition. The device should show voltage. Turn on starter. At the same time, the LED should light up. If not, check electrical wires and ignition coil. If they are OK, check the ignition system and fuel injection system.
Connect pins 30 and 87V (87) short wire. If the fuel pump turns on, replace the relay. Check the integrity of the red-blue wire going to the fuel pump, if necessary, replace the wire.
If the pump is defective, replace it.
