Checking the performance of the fuel pump (Opel Kadett D)

Disconnect the supply fuel line marked with a blue ring from the distribution line and lower the end of the hose into a 5 l container.

Disconnect the plug from the control relay.



The control relay is located at the base of the spring cap next to the battery.

Connect terminals 28 and 59 of the plug with a control wire. Turn on the pump for 1 min. The volume of fuel supplied should be 0.8-1 l.

If there is less fuel, replace the fuel filter and check again. If the fuel shortage remains, replace the pump.
