Examination
Switch off the ignition. Accelerator pedal in idle position.
Disconnect the plug from the control relay.
Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 9 of the plug. The value is about 0 ohm. If not, disconnect triple plug from throttle sensor and check wiring. If necessary, adjust the sensor and repeat the test.
Squeeze out the gas pedal.
The resistance between terminals 2 and 9 must be infinity.
With the gas pedal depressed, check the resistance between terminals 3 and 9. Value 0 ohm. Otherwise, check the wiring.
Adjustment
Loosen fixing screws (arrows).
Turn the sensor counterclockwise until resistance appears. Fasten in this position.
Slightly open and close the throttle by hand. In both cases, clicks of the switch in the sensor should be heard.
Replacement
Disconnect triple plug.
Unscrew the fixing screws (arrows), and remove the sensor from the throttle shaft.
Install the sensor on the throttle shaft, adjust and secure.
