Checking and adjusting CO content (Opel Kadett D)

Warm up the engine to an oil temperature of 60°C. Connect a tachometer and a CO tester.

Caution! Observe safety precautions when handling the TSZ-H device.

Check the ignition adjustment, see item 23.9.

If the injection pipes were removed or replaced, before adjustment, bring the engine speed up to 3000 several times and let it idle for about 2 minutes.

Check and adjust idle speed.

Check CO. Value 0.2-0.5%.

Remove the CO adjusting screw plug on the air flow meter and adjust the CO. Clockwise, the CO content increases, counterclockwise, it decreases.



Install the plug.
