Adjusting the idle speed (Opel Kadett D)

Warm up the engine. The oil temperature should be at least 60°C. Connect the tachometer.

Attention! Observe safety precautions for the TSZ-H system, see item 23.3.

Check the ignition setting, see item 23.9.

If you have loosened or replaced the fuel injection system hoses, then before installation, accelerate the engine several times to 3000 rpm and let it idle for at least 2 minutes.



Loosen the lock nut and adjust the idle speed to 900-950 rpm using the idle speed adjustment screw on the throttle body.

Secure the adjusting screw with the lock nut.
