Removal
Remove the air intake tube.
Release the clamps (arrow) and remove the upper and lower radiator fan shrouds.

Remove the radiator (see the relevant chapter).

Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the radiator fan from the viscous coupling pulley.

Tilt the tensioner pulley downward to relieve tension on the accessory drive belt and remove the belt.
Remove 2 bolts and 2 nuts and remove the fan pulley assembly from the cylinder block.

Unscrew the bolt and remove the crankshaft pulley, using the special tool KM-J-8614-01 to hold the pulley from turning.
Unscrew the 9 bolts and remove the timing belt covers of the gas distribution mechanism.

Installation
Install the timing belt covers and secure with 9 bolts, tightening them to a torque of 19 Nm.

Install the crankshaft pulley. Using the KM-J-8614-01 tool, hold the pulley from turning and tighten the new pulley mounting bolt to 167 N·m
Install the fan pulley assembly onto the cylinder block and secure with bolts and nuts, tightening them to a torque of 24 N·m.
Install the radiator fan on the viscous coupling pulley and secure with nuts, tightening them to a torque of 10 Nm.

Install the accessory drive belt onto the pulleys.
Install the radiator (see the relevant chapter).

Install the upper and lower radiator fan shrouds and secure them with clamps.
Install the air intake tube.
