Attention! The procedure for replacing the timing belt is indicated in the corresponding chapter.
1. Inspect the timing belt for damage or wear.
2. Check the ease of movement of the toothed belt guide roller. If a bearing rotation sound is heard, replace the roller.
3. Inspect the guide roller sealing washer. If, due to friction or other reasons, the washer is worn out and as a result the roller has play, then replace the washer with a new one.
4. Inspect the surface of the toothed belt drive gear for burrs. Replace gear if necessary.
