No special tools or devices are required.
Materials required:
- replaceable filter element.
Removal
1. Disconnect the hose from the air filter housing.
2. Cars produced before 9/2000.
Release the four wire clips and remove the air cleaner cover (see illustration).
3. Vehicles produced since 10/1999: Unscrew the filter cover mounting screws and remove the cover.
4. Remove the replacement filter element.
5. Wipe the inside of the air filter with a rag.
Installation
6. Install a new filter element into the filter housing.

7. Close the air filter cover and secure it with bolts.
8. Connect the air hose to the filter.
