1. Jack up the car and place it on jack stands.
2. Check the tightness of the exhaust system mounting clamps.
3. Inspect the exhaust pipes using a flashlight and make sure there are no holes, rusted parts or abrasions.
4. Replace badly dented pipes.
5. Check the rubber shock absorbers by twisting and stretching them for cracks and replace if necessary.
6. Check the fit of the lambda probe and its plug.
7. Lower the car onto its wheels.
