Raise the vehicle and place it on supports.
Check the exhaust system for corrosion and abrasion.
Replace severely deformed pipes.
Check rubber parts for damage and replace if necessary.
In vehicles with a catalytic converter: check the electrical connection and secure fastening of the lambda probe.
