Valve timing*
*When operating clearances in the valve drive mechanism are 0.15 mm for intake valves, and 0.25 mm for exhaust valves
Camshaft
The camshaft is three-bearing, side-mounted, with a chain drive. The shaft rotates in bearing bushings pressed into the bores of the cylinder block, the holes of which must be reamed to the dimensions indicated in the table. The camshaft is held from axial movement by a steel locking plate inserted into the groove of the front support.
Camshaft axial clearance, mm: 0.17-0.43.
Radial runout of the middle journal of the camshaft relative to the outer journals, measured in centers, mm: 0.03.
The rise of the intake and exhaust cams, mm: 6.45.
Camshaft drive chain
The chain is single-row, roller, has 56 links with a pitch of 9.525 mm.
Chain width, mm: 13.
