Contents: Radiator ⬇ Water pump ⬇ Thermostat ⬇ Generator drive belt ⬇ Fan ⬇ Coolant ⬇
The car uses a liquid cooling system with forced circulation of liquid, carried out by means of a pump installed on the front wall of the cylinder head. The correct temperature regime of the engine is maintained by a thermostat.

Radiator

Radiator with finned aluminum tubes and side tanks. A safety valve is built into the radiator cap.

Colour marking and digital index of the radiator cap: blue, 90.096.561.

Opening pressure of safety valve, kg/cm²: 1.25-1.30.

Water pump

The centrifugal water pump shaft rotates in a sealed double-row ball bearing.

Pump pulley outer diameter, mm: 100.

Angle of the pulley groove walls, deg.: 40.

Gear ratio of crankshaft pulley to pump pulley: 1.1:1.

Thermostat

A thermostat with a solid temperature-sensitive filler is installed in the box.

Valve opening start temperature,°C: 91.

Full valve opening temperature,°C: 107.

Generator drive belt

Belt size, mm: 9.5x950.

Brand and type of belt: Ventiflex 1111.

Belt tension, kgf:
  • new: 45.0;
  • worked: 25-30.

Fan

The fan has a plastic five-blade impeller mounted on the shaft of an electric motor, which is switched on and off by the electric fan switch.

Fan motor switch-on temperature,°C: 97.

Fan motor switch-off temperature,°C: 93.

Impeller diameter, mm: 280.

Coolant

Engine cooling and cabin heating system capacity, l: 5.7

The liquid used: a mixture of distilled water and antifreeze in a ratio of 80% and 20% at temperatures up to -10°C, 48% and 52% at temperatures up to -40°C.

Replacement frequency: every two years of operation.
