Fuel tank



The fuel tank is located in the middle of the rear of the vehicle.

Fuel tank capacity, l:

cars with hatchback and sedan bodies.
  • before 1986 model year: 42;
  • since 1986 model year: 52.

Fuel pump



The fuel pump is mechanical, diaphragm type, driven by the camshaft eccentric.

Brand and type: Pierburg or AC RA 6900.

Fuel supply pressure at crankshaft speed of 2000 rpm, kg/cm²: 0.18-0.24.

Air filter



Air filter with replaceable paper filter element. Brand and type of air element: AC PC 87.

Carburetor



The engine uses a single-chamber Weber 32 TL emulsion type carburetor.

The carburetor has a main metering system, a starting device with a pneumatic air damper drive, a power mode economizer, an economizer, a diaphragm accelerator pump, and a main and auxiliary idle system.

Main dosing system:
  • fuel jet marking: 117;
  • air jet marking: 75;
  • emulsion tube marking: F 96.

Main idle system:
  • fuel jet marking: 47.

Auxiliary idle system:
  • fuel jet marking: 35;
  • air jet marking: 100.

Econostat:
  • fuel jet marking: 65.

Partial Load Economizer:
  • fuel jet marking; 40.

Accelerator pump:
  • sprayer marking 45;
  • fuel supply for 10 cycles, cm³: 6.5-9.5.

Needle valve opening diameter, mm: 1.75.

The distance between the lower edge of the float and the gasket plane with the cover removed, determining the fuel level in the float chamber, mm: 23.5-24.0.



Float weight, g: 10.0-10.5.

Starting clearances, mm:
  • throttle valve: 0.60-0.70;
  • air damper: 4.25-4.75.

Marking of the air damper pneumatic actuator pressure reducing nozzle: 35.

Vacuum supplied to the ignition distributor, kg/cm³: 0.1-0.3.

Cold engine crankshaft speed at idle (fast idle), rpm: 3600-4000

Crankshaft speed of a warm engine at idle speed, rpm: 850-900.

Carbon monoxide (CO) content in exhaust gases, %: 0.5-1.5.
