Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the accelerator cable and cruise control cable, and mark their installation positions to facilitate adjustment after reconnecting the cables.

Remove the main air intake.
Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose.
Disconnect the fuel supply hoses from the fuel rail.
Remove 2 bolts and disconnect the fuel line bracket from the expansion air chamber.
Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the expansion chamber.
Disconnect the connector from the intake manifold pressure sensor.
Remove the bolts and disconnect the ground wires.
Disconnect the connector and vacuum hoses from the air control valve.

Disconnect the electrical connector and pipe from the EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation).

Remove the four bolts and four nuts and remove the expansion air chamber.

Remove the expansion chamber gasket.
Installation
Clean the expansion chamber mating surfaces from any remaining gasket material.
Install the expansion chamber with a new gasket and secure with four bolts and four nuts, tightening them to a torque of 25 N·m.

Connect the connector and tube to the EGR valve.

Connect the connector and vacuum hoses to the air control valve.
Connect the connector to the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Connect the ground wires.

Connect the fuel supply hoses to the fuel rail.
Connect the brake booster vacuum hose.
Install the main air intake.
Connect the accelerator cable and the cruise control cable.
Connecting the accelerator cable and cruise control cable (cruise control).
Install the engine cover.
Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
