2. Using a syringe, remove the brake fluid from the expansion tank.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the brake fluid level sensor.
4. If equipped, disconnect the clutch master cylinder hose (1) from the brake master cylinder reservoir. Close the expansion tank outlet with a cap and plug the clutch master cylinder hose to prevent brake fluid from leaking out and atmospheric moisture from entering it.

5. Loosen the bolt (2) securing the expansion tank.
Note: Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm.
6. Remove the brake fluid expansion tank (3).
7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When installing a new brake system expansion tank, remove all protective caps from it. Make sure that all terminals are free of dirt or blockages. Install new seals, do not use old ones. Apply clean brake fluid to the seals.
Replacing the brake fluid level sensor
1. Disconnect the electrical connector of the brake fluid level sensor.
2. Turn the brake fluid level sensor (1) clockwise and remove it from the expansion tank.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
