2. Using a syringe, remove the brake fluid from the expansion tank.
3. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
4. If equipped, disconnect the clutch master cylinder hose (1) from the brake master cylinder reservoir. Close the outlet of the expansion tank with a cap, and plug the hose of the clutch master cylinder with a plug to prevent leakage of brake fluid and ingress of atmospheric moisture into it.
5. Loosen the bolt (2) expansion tank attachment.
Note. Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm.
6. Remove the expansion tank of the brake fluid (3).
7. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. When installing a new expansion tank of the brake system, remove all protective caps from it. Make sure that all leads are free of dirt or obstructions. Install new seals, do not use old ones. Apply clean brake fluid to seals.
Replacing the brake fluid level sensor
1. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
2. Rotate the brake fluid level sensor (1) clockwise and remove from expansion tank.
3. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
