Replacing the front brake hose
J60, J61
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheel from the vehicle.
3. Loosen the connection (1) of the front brake hose. Plug the holes to prevent dirt from entering and brake fluid from leaking out.
Note: Tightening torque: 18 Nm.

4. Unscrew the hollow bolt (2) securing the brake hose to the caliper.
Note: Tightening torque: 40 Nm.
5. Remove the two brake hose gaskets (3).
Note: Replace the brake hose gaskets with new ones at each installation.
6. Remove the front brake hose (4).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
8. After installing the front brake hose, bleed the brake system.
J62
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheel from the vehicle.
3. Loosen the connection (1) of the front brake hose. Plug the holes to prevent dirt from entering and brake fluid from leaking out.
Note: Tightening torque: 18 Nm.

4. Unscrew the hollow bolt (2) securing the brake hose to the caliper.
Note: Tightening torque: 40 Nm.
5. Remove the two brake hose gaskets (3).
Note: Replace the brake hose gaskets with new ones at each installation.
6. Remove the front brake hose (4).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
8. After installing the front brake hose, bleed the brake system.
Replacing the rear brake hose
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheel from the vehicle.
3. Loosen the connection (1) of the rear brake pipe. Plug the holes to prevent dirt from entering and brake fluid from leaking out.
Note.
- Use a flange nut wrench on the brake pipe connection and a counter-stop wrench on the brake hose.
- Tightening torque: 18 Nm.

4. Remove the brake hose retainer (2).
5. Unscrew the hollow bolt (3) securing the brake hose to the caliper.
Note: Tightening torque: 40 Nm.
6. Remove the two brake hose gaskets (4).
Note: Replace the brake hose gaskets with new ones at each installation.
7. Remove the rear brake hose (5).
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
9. After installing the front brake hose, bleed the brake system.
