2. Pull the brake pedal up to disengage from the brake lever.
3. Using a syringe, remove the brake fluid from the expansion tank.
4. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
5. To remove the main brake cylinder.
6. Remove the modulating valve.
7. Disconnect check valve (1) vacuum brake booster.
Note. If necessary, a small amount of denatured alcohol applied to the vacuum booster bushing can be used to facilitate installation of the check valve. Do not use soapy water.
8. Remove two bolts (2) fastenings of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
Note. Tightening torque: 19 Nm.
9. Remove the vacuum brake booster (3).
10. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Note.
- If equipped, calibrate the brake pedal position sensor.
- Install a new latch on the brake pedal lever.
