Replacing the front brake line (Opel Insignia A)

1. Raise and secure the vehicle.

2. Remove the front wheel from the vehicle.

3. Remove the brake fluid expansion tank.

4. Loosen the connection (1) of the front brake pipe. Plug the holes to prevent dirt from entering and brake fluid from leaking out.

Note: Tightening torque: 18 Nm.

5. Remove the brake pipe clamp (2).

6. Loosen the connection (3) of the front brake pipe with the brake hose. Plug the holes to prevent dirt from getting in and brake fluid from leaking out.

Note: Tightening torque: 18 Nm.


7. Remove the front brake pipe (4).

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

9. Bleed the hydraulic brake system.
