Removal



Remove the ignition coil (1) (see the relevant chapter).

Remove the ignition coil (1) (see the relevant chapter).


Disconnect the connector from the fuel tank ventilation solenoid valve (2).

Remove the fuel tank vent solenoid valve from the bracket.

Installation



Install the fuel tank vent solenoid valve to the bracket.

Connect the connector to the fuel tank vent solenoid valve.

Install the ignition coil (see the relevant chapter).

Engine 3.2 l (6VD1-W)



Removal



Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the engine cover.

Mark the location and disconnect the vacuum hoses from the fuel tank vent solenoid valve.

Mark the location and disconnect the vacuum hoses from the fuel tank vent solenoid valve.


Disconnect the connector from the fuel tank vent solenoid valve.



Remove the bolt and the fuel tank ventilation solenoid valve.

Installation



Install the fuel tank vent solenoid valve and secure it with the bolt.

Connect the connector and vacuum hoses to the fuel tank vent solenoid valve.

Install the engine cover.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
